During my trip to Zermatt, I stayed at the Romantik Hotel Julen, which was a fantastic hotel with a very friendly staff. It felt like a family-run establishment. The hotel was very clean and located in a great spot, surrounded by mountains, and offering a distant view of the Matterhorn. Almost every room had a balcony, allowing me to enjoy the stunning view of the snow-covered mountains. I had a wonderful time sitting outside, sipping wine, and taking in the beauty of nature.
The rooms are exceptionally clean, including the bathroom, which is equipped with all the necessary amenities for your stay. Breakfast is included, and the restaurant is quite spacious, offering a wide selection of food. You’ll find a variety of options, including different types of cheese, bread, cold cuts, and more. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant.
One of their electric vans picked me up from the train station, although the hotel is just a 10-minute walk away. During my walk, I enjoyed observing the restaurants and bars that were lined up on both sides of the narrow road.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel for two nights. They even provided a drop-off service at the train station when I was leaving. I highly recommend this hotel to others.
