I stayed in The Tourist Hotel during my 3 days visit to Lucerne, and found it very comfortable and location wise perfect for me. When I get off the train in Lucerne hbf bahnhof I just walked over there. It was only 10 minutes walk to the hotel along the lake with a fantastic view so I did not even how 10 minutes passed by.

I was in 3rd floor with a balcony. I spent hours sitting in the balcony and watching the spectacular view of the snow covered mountains in the horizon and the lake then spent time in the bed.

Room and Bathroom were clean and modern, breakfast was included in the price and definitely was much better than what we get in the USA. Hotel stuff was extremely helpful and friendly and speaks good English. During my 3 nights in Lucerne I walked miles after miles and came back to the hotel only when I could not do it anymore. So, even i spent very little time at the hotel but still enjoyed my stay there. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Special moments that I will alway remember was when after a long day of activities came back to the hotel and relaxing in the balcony overlooking the beautiful view of the snow covered mountaintops in the horizon and having local beers with the sound of stream of Lucerne Lake. What a unforgettable moment that could be.
