Klong Prao Resort, in Koh Chang, Thailand where we stayed for three nights, is located right next to the beautiful Klong Prao beach. The resort got 126 cottage-style rooms that are comfortably equipped with air-conditioners, television, hot/cold water, and other amenities with genuine privacy and comfortable facilities.
It was very close to many sightseeing activities like Klong Plu Waterfalls, Canal, and a few famous sandy beaches. Only a few minutes walk to the main center where we found many banks, currency exchange places, ATMs, groceries, restaurants, shopping mall, street food, and the night market most interestingly.

Beachside accommodation was tempting but too expensive for our budget. But we didn’t miss much of that experience as most of our quality time was spent at the beachside Restaurant & Bar at the hotel, especially from where we enjoyed the picturesque sunset on the horizon. In addition, we also enjoyed the entertainment and live music on the beach in the evening while having a few drinks. The environment was peaceful and brought back unforgettable memories.

Foods at the hotel restaurant were also fresh and tasty. Breakfast was included, and there was a wide variety of food to choose from, including a few cooks to order items was there as well.
The Klong Prao beach was clean and beautiful, especially the beachside pool and a few coconut trees along the coast make it feel like paradise. We were able to walk on the beach for miles and enjoyed it both in the evening and early in the morning. The resort is inside a gated community, and there are multiple private roads leading to different areas of the resort. Gulf carts were available for the guests.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay at Klong Prao Resort so much that next year when my sister and her family wanted to visit Koh Chang, I strongly recommended this resort.
