Jaiwana Haveli was once the private residence of the Thakur of Jaiwana, one of the jagirdars of Maharanas of Mewar. Located in the historic city of Udaipur, the hotel has an unbeatable location. The Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous the brothers who run the place personally paid attention to our sightseeing interest by providing us guidance and not hesitating to answer any questions.

I loved Staying At This Beautiful Place

Can you believe spending an evening in a place like this Beautiful view all over!

Jaiwana Haveli got little over 20 rooms, the standard room we stayed was small but clean and we definitely enjoyed our stay there. The hotel was located on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola next to the Lal Ghat boat pier, and possesses unparalleled views across the sparkling waters and island palaces, to the Aravali Mountains beyond.

Our room was equipped with modern facilities, with a touch of the Rajput tradition that makes Udaipur one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world.

The roof top restaurant with its panoramic views become a popular location during our stay there. Also the restaurant stuff were so professional and the food were delicious. We enjoyed delicious Mewari and Indian dishes along with few Kinfisher beers, specially Typical Rajasthani Breakfast Poha (Flattened Rice) was awesome.

Jaiwana Haveli, Udaipur
View of the Jaiwana Haveli (hotel) from the street

Jaiwana Haveli is just a few minutes away from Udaipur’s famous City Palace and many of the other important landmarks, as well as the old bazaars that are so fascinating to explore. You may choose to go for a boat ride on Lake Pichola to obtain a different perspective of the magnificent waterfront or enjoy a spectacular sunset. Hotel is located nest to Bagore-ki-Haveli only 2 minutes walk where you can watch the colorful Rajasthani folk dance and music

This hotel got no elevator so take that into consideration if physically challenged. In our case hotel staff did not even hesitate to carry our suitcases up to our room on the 3rd floor and did the same during our check out.

Transportation like auto rickshaw (tuk tuk) was widely available right outside of the hotel. We did not go far Money exchange was right around the corner so was ATM and grocery. Note that this hotel is in old town so roads around there are little congested and narrow, so watch out while walking.

The hotel is professionally managed by brothers and their family, who have many years experience in the hotel profession. Click here for great hotel deals for Udaipur, India.
